Education

Raven Harvis was born in Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from Baker High School. Raven is an Auburn University alumna. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Marketing. Raven also earned a master’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.

Career

Raven experienced a very successful radio and television advertising sales career after college. In the midst of this success, Raven made the important decision to step away from corporate work to focus on her family. 

After the birth of her son, Raven reentered the workforce. She joined H&S Commercial and Industrial Supply LLC, a company her mother started to support her through college. Today, Raven continues her work with H&S. Raven’s business experience and education have helped to further H&S’ success by establishing regional offices and securing business relationships in six states across the Southeastern Region.

Family

Raven is the wife of Mr. Antione Harvis Sr. The Harvis family has lived in Opelika, Alabama, since 2006. Antione and Raven enjoy family time with their son, Antione Jr., and daughter, Genesis.

Civic Leadership

Raven is a faithful leader, serving her church, Global Impact, and throughout her community as a diligent volunteer. Raven is a proud member of Kiwanis and serves on the Board of Directors for the Opelika Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Peace Community Development Corporation, the Zoning Board of Adjustments, and the Curtis House. She formerly served for several years on the boards of 20 under 40, Keep Opelika Beautiful, 3D-Elite, the Citizens Advisory Committee, and the Friends of Opelika Public Library.

 

Raven loves to give of her time, talent, and resources to improve the lives of others.
